A lot of Newcastle kitchens are the original layout with newer doors hung on tired carcasses. We take the room back to a blank wall and plan it properly, working out where the bench, sink and appliances should sit before anything is ordered. From there we build the cabinetry, coordinate the benchtop template and handle the install. You get a clear scope of what is changing, and a realistic idea of how long the kitchen will be out of use, before the demolition starts.

Terraces and semis through Cooks Hill, Wickham and Islington rarely have a kitchen you can simply make bigger. The gain comes from planning: full-height cabinetry instead of a bulkhead, drawers instead of cupboards, an appliance garage to keep the bench clear, and a layout that keeps the working triangle tight. We measure on site and build to the exact wall lengths, so there are no filler panels eating the space you do have.

Flat-pack sizing rarely lines up with the walls and plumbing positions in an established Newcastle home.
